The classic LeTech winch bumper for earlier models of the G-Class – often copied, never matched. A solid winch holder carries an electric winch such as a model of the Warn Zeon series (of course other types with comparable measurements and identical mountings are possible).
The robust winch bumper, made from quality steel, ideally protects the valuable winch and lower front of the vehicle in off-road use and also offers the very best conditions for safe, reliable recovery operations. The protection can be rounded off with the respective underride guard.
The winch bumper looks great on the G-Class and gives the vehicle the edgy look of a globetrotting off-roader. To ensure that it stays that way for a long time, the individual parts are perfectly protected from corrosion through cathodic dip coating and powder coating. The universal usability allows it to be mounted on almost all the Gs of the 460/461/463 series up to and including the 2014 models – with just a few simple adjustments. Additionally, the winch bumper offers the possibility to install fog lights, which are already installed ex works with many of the eligible Gs. For all other vehicle models, we offer a complete retrofit kit. The fog lights can be protected from damage caused by branches or grit with custom-made grilles.
In addition to the winch bumper and the electric rope winch, other options are also available. For the complete package, we recommend a high-quality synthetic rope, with a soft shackle for safety reasons instead of a heavy, sharp-edged steel hook and the corresponding aluminium cable fairlead. An electronic overload protection and professional installation using a switchable main relay reduce the potential for danger before, during and after the recovery operation. Apart from the relevant skills in safe handling, a successful recovery operation of a stuck LandRover requires a few other important pieces of equipment such as a pulley, straps and shackles in the cargo area storage box. The optional rope winch remote control ensures additional comfort.
